44th Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon 2026
On October 4, 2026, I ran the 44th Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon. The full race FPV/POV video can be viewed on YouTube here: For this race, I mainly continued to train by following a Garmin Coach plan. This race was not the training plan’s goal race. I was also in MCRRC’s First Time Marathon (FTM) Program. I mainly stayed true to the Garmin plan, but distance adjustments were made depending on where FTM long runs were held since sometimes not possible to adjust distances due to nature of point-to-point runs with no shortcuts. But I was never short mileage.

Philadelphia Marathon 2025
On November 23, 2025, I ran the Philadelphia Marathon. The full race FPV/POV video can be viewed on YouTube here: Philadelphia Marathon 2025 Full Race FPV/POV Unfortunately, the curse continues and the watch health stats seem to indicate some sort of illness before the race. No new best time but had a good tour of the city. I was surprised at how hilly the course is. I had expected it to be a lot less hilly than Marine Corps Marathon but it turns out Philadelphia has a few more feet of climb than Marine Corps.

50th Marine Corps Marathon 2025
On October 26, 2025, I ran in the 50th Marine Corps Marathon. The full race FPV/POV video can be viewed on YouTube here: 50th Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) 2025 Full Race FPV/POV This race occurred during the government shutdown. There was a lot of anxiety on whether the race would happen as the Army Ten-Miler waited to practically last minute to say their race would occur, past where a lot of people cancelled travel reservations. Thankfully it was announced that Marine Corps Marathon would indeed happen further in advance. It would be a terrible tragedy to cancel a 50th birthday celebration.

Hartford Marathon 2025
On October 11, 2025, I ran in the 32nd Hartford Marathon. The full race FPV/POV video can be viewed on YouTube here: Hartford Marathon 2025 Race FPV/POV Since I didn’t win the Chicago Marathon lottery for 2025, I decided to take the opportunity to check-off another state that would have conflicted in the same time period. I set my sights on Hartford since it is the biggest marathon in Connecticut and hilly. I’m trying to target more difficult courses first and save flatter/downhill races for later when I assume I will get faster to take advantage of them.
